After doing bike rides for charity every year since 2004 I have decided to go an extra step this year.  After I finished my last bike ride (Capital to Coast) I said to myself "I'm gonna take an effing break next year!". After 6 years most people would I'm sure but then a few months later I saw this bike ride, which I had prior knowledge of, but never actually tried doing before.  I don't know what changed but after reading up on it I thought I'd give it a go. I missed out on my preferred dates 1st -5th June 2011 so had to go for the next ones up 22nd-26th June 2011.

Here are a few celebrities who have supported Make-A-Wish Foundation through the years:

Michael Jackson: My main celebrity inspiration for choosing this charity and for doing this bike ride. The Make-a-Wish Foundation brought 1,000's of children to Neverland to enjoy a fun day. *The final day of the ride falls on the 2nd anniversary of his passing (25th June)
