Adidas Women's Challenge 2008 · 7 September 2008 ·

Street Child Africa provides holistic support to vulnerable children and young people: preventing children growing up on the streets; meeting the needs of children living and working on the streets; and providing opportunities for children to access a positive future through education & training.

Story

We are putting our best foot forward again for Africa's street children! Please support Street Child Africa's girly team at the Adidas Women's 5K Challenge in Hyde Park, London, on 7th September by joining us for a great day out and sponsoring our team.

Why not invite your friends and family to support us too and join us after the run in a celebratory picnic in Hyde Park? Let's make it a wonderful Street Child Africa day out!

Please dig deep in your pockets and donate online through this site. A little goes a long way in Africa:
- £9 feeds a new street baby for a week in a crèche in the slums of Accra, Ghana
- £13 provides medical care for a year for a child living on the streets of Maputo, Mozambique
- £40 supports a former street child in a school in Zambia for a year
- £100 pays for a trained social worker to be on the streets with the children for one month
- £450 allows one street child to be placed in a family centre in Zimbabwe for a year.

Using JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Street Child Africa will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many, many thanks for your support to Africa's most vulnerable children!
