Story
When the idea of this challenge was mentioned on a cold wet saturday morning last winter whilst watching our young sons football training it seemed like a good idea. Then!!!
So four elderly Dads known as the 'Rebels' from Prestwood have decided to walk the highest peak in Scotland, England & Wales all in 24 hours in aid of Scannappeal. Our journey begins at the bottom of Ben Nevis 16.00hrs 12th July. The next ascent is Scafell which we aim to commence 02.30hrs 13th July and the final ascent is Snowdon which we hope to complete by 16.00hrs on the 13th.
We will be joined by Paul and Matt from Prestwood and Chris (2) the most important one, our driver, cook and comforter (that be for Chris ex Boarding school used to having a matron near by!!).
Scannappeal's Phase 2 requires much needed funding for laser treatment for Prostrate Cancer and your donation will be much welcomed for which we all thank you.
