In 2015 I started to write a technical IT book about Troubleshooting Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. During that year my wife and I lost 2 babies through miscarriage which is not a nice experience to go through. My progress on the book faltered and a long story cut short is that with some help from a friend in the industry (Gerry Hampson) we managed to get the book published by Packt Publishing in early 2016. 

I earned money from the book in the form of an advance and royalties and so I decided to donate my share to Tommy's charity for the work they are doing around stillbirth, premature birth, and miscarriage. If they can somehow make better for others what we went through then it is worth every penny donated and hour spent writing.
