We provide emotional and practical support to families with a seriously ill child.

Story

The Jungle Marathon takes place in the Fioresta National de Tapajos, in Para, Brazil, in October 2008. Runners are required to run 200km in 7 days through primary jungle carrying their food, clothes, hammocks, and medical equipment for the entire race.

Donations, while paid through The Rainbow Trust, will be split 50:50 between The Rainbow Trust and Headway Guernsey. Headway Guernsey is a new Guernsey based charity that supports people dealing with the long-term effects of a brain injury caused by a head injury, stroke, brain haemorrhage or a tumour.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor our team: The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. The Rainbow Trust will collect all the funds on behalf of both the charities. We, The Rainbow Trust, and Headway Guernsey are hugely grateful for your support.

About the charity

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity supports families who have a child with a serious or life-threatening illness. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support.
