We are currently serving on Op TELIC 12 in Iraq and whilst here have decided to attempt an arduous challenge - there are 3 of us who will run, row and cycle the distance from Basra to Fallingbostel, Germany (our home base) - no mean feat at 7979km!

ASM Ward will run 13km/day

SSM Mcguire will row 13km/day

Sgt Murphy will cycle 26 km/day

We wanted to contribute to a charity that we feel is not as well known but has a pupose close to all our hearts - children!

Many children in these times are affected by the campaigns that the British Military are involved in and this is our way of making sure they are not forgotten.
