We've been travelling in South America for six months and have heard bits and bobs about the notorious Carretera Austral. The Carretera Austral is a 1200km cycle through southern Chile and Argentina, beginning in Puerto Montt and ending in El Calafate. Quite spontaneously we have decided to get on our bicycles and go for it! The cycle should take between six andeight weeks, and we will be camping all the way!

We are taking this opportunity to raise money for Trees for Life, a wonderful Scottish charity aimed at rewilding Scotland, and would appreciate any donations!
