Every day 10 families are told a child has cancer.  Like many cancer has entered my life through family and close friends. CLIC Sargent charity for children with cancer has particularly taken my interest over the years and I am so excited to be participating in an event - Zip Slide Across the Clyde 2010 on the 15th August.

CLIC Sargent are with the family and the child every step of the way; 

During treatment - providing specialist nurses, play specialists, Homes from Home

In hospitals & at home - offering specialist social care and support in the community - services for your people, holidays, grants, helpline

After treatment - helping survivors, supporting those bereaved
