I am running the 2009 Flora London Marathon for PDSA!
I have been working with the PDSA for over one year now. I started simply as a summer locum but loved working at Gateshead so much I decided to take up a permanent position there. I feel passionately about what the PDSA stands for as it allows you to be more than just a 'normal vet'. I obviously love working with animals but being able to work as part of such a great team and promote such a great standard of animal care is amazing.
I have always been passionate about sport and running and have run many races for personal achievement. I have two dogs, Emma and McGreagor. They sometimes come running with me, however I find they often go much faster than I can manage! Running the Flora London Marathon is a great personal challenge but more importantly I am able to help support and raise money for a charity which is such a big part of my life. The PDSA provides an amazing service to so many animals and their owner, hopefully I can help that work to continue.
