Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.

Story

I'm doing the London Marathon on 25th April 2010, and am probably going to half kill myself trying! Due to the pain I'm going to endure I thought I'd do it for something worthwhile. I'm sure you'll agree the Scottish Cot Death Trust is a very worthwhile cause. Those of you with kids, can you think of anything worse? Those without, I'm sure you can imagine. This charity gets very little money from the government and relies almost exclusively on donations, provides support to familes of cot death victims, and funding for research into prevention of these terrible tragedies.

So there you go folks, an opportunity to cause me severe pain and pressure, help those less fortunate and make you feel good at the same time, please dig deep, everyone's a winner!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
