Essex Countryside Bike Ride · 12 July 2008 ·

First Step’s vision is to provide the best possible environment to support each family and to enable their very young children with special needs and/or disabilities to maximise their individual potential.

Story

Hello

Thank  you for visiting my fund raising page.

I am going to ride 18 miles in the Essex countryside bike ride. I am doing this in memory of Samuel Warner, the son of a good friend of mine who sadly passed away too early.

Monies raised will go to First Step who gave Danny and Karen an enormous amount of support at the time when they most needed it. 15% of money raised will also go to Little Havens childrens hospice as they are hosting the event.

I am willing to wear a company logo for a fee although i am not sure the image of a slightly overweight red faced Lloyd's broker is one best used to promote a company.

Whilst 18 miles does not seem very far i have only been riding a bike occasionally for the last 2 years and have not got past  4.5 miles so it is quite a challenge. Also I have only started training Monday!!!!

Samuel was aged 4 months when he passed away. He had downs syndrome and also a rare genetic disorder.  Here is a link to Danny Warner's fund raising page, he has run in the 2008 London marathon in aid of First Step  for more info click this link  http://www.justgiving.com/dannywarner.

Please give any amount that you can for this worthy cause.
