Hello everyone!

Here's the deal:  a year ago on a night out that involved way too many drinks, 12 people made a pact to run the New York Marathon - 8 months later and only 4 of them had the guts to to it.....

I was one of those foolish souls, however little did I know that when the marathon came round I would be living on the other side of the world in Singapore. 

If it was not enough to be running a marathon, I also have to endure an 18 hour flight to get to New York and complete the rest of my training in temperatures that remain as high as 30 degrees - even in the evening!

If you are not already convinced to sponsor me, then the fact that I am running for Macmillan Cancer Support should give you no excuse.  Take a look at the website to see how Macmillan improves the lives of people affected by cancer.

 

Just Giving process donations and reclaim Gift Aid for our member charities, it works like this:

  • When you donate £10 on our site, we send 100% to the charity by the end of the week.
  • We reclaim Gift Aid from the government, which takes about a month, adding £2.82 to your donation.
