This December I'm running in the Las Vegas Marathon to raise funds for Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.  In March of this year my 91 year old Grandfather suffered a minor stroke and spent time in hospital in Glasgow, cared for by a specialist stroke team.  Thankfully, he has been allowed to return home and is starting to make his recovery.  My other Grandfather died of a heart attack aged only 57.

Therefore, I'd like to make my personal contribution towards this cause, raising money by putting myself through the challenge of running this marathon, to help other people like my Grandfathers who suffer from or who have suffered from chest, heart or stroke illness.
