Barth syndrome is a complex and life threatening genetic condition that affects the heart, immune system and growth. Our children and adults struggle with extreme fatigue, sudden heart arrhythmias and recurring infections. Help us to fund research and to find a cure for this devastating condition.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 2nd July I will take on the formidable Marmotte Cycling Sportive in the heart of the French Alps with my Dad, Mark.

The ride is just over 100 miles (175km) and involves riding up some iconic mountain passes in the French Alps (Col du Glandon, Col de Telegraphe & the mighty Col d' Galibier) before finishing at the top of Alpe D'Huez where the penultimate stage of the 2015 Tour de France finished.

It will take about 11-12 hours to cycle. Last year the temperature reached 43degrees.

I am riding for my best friend Nick's charity Barth Syndrome Trust.

So please support me and BST.

Ps if I can complete the Marmotte then we're going to attempt the Triple Ventoux the following week. !
