My story

Thank you for visiting! - PLEASE CLICK ON "READ MORE OF MY STORY"

On July 18th 2012, I will be embarking on a journey from John O'Groats to Land's End, by foot, on behalf of Parkinson's UK.

Not only this epic trek (including an ascension of Ben Nevis), I'm doing it off the charity of others. Meaning that any food or accommodation I receive on my journey will be provided out of the kindness of people's hearts. That's why...

I NEED YOUR HELP!

There are three ways you can help:

1. Donate any amount of money to the charity

2. Read over the list of places en route (posted below) to see if I go through any you live in/know of. If I do, offer some food or accommodation

3. Pass the information onto others who might be able to help out

If you can do 1 of these things, fab, if you can do all 3, even more fab.

I've wanted to do this walk all my life, and now seems like the best time to do it (although, the weather we've been having recently would like to disagree…)

Parkinson's UK is a wonderful charity who help people dealing with Parkinson's on a daily basis. Please give generously to this great cause.

If you would like to get in contact with me, there are several ways to…

1. Email me directly on: kazascoot@live.co.uk

2. Follow my daily blog of the trek on: scottwestwood2012.wordpress.com

3. Follow me on my Facebook page on: www.facebook.com/scottsjogle

4. Follow me on Twitter: @scottsjogle

Thank you for all the help!

Please find below the list of places for my route.

My charity

Parkinson’s UK

Parkinson’s UK

Charity Registration No. 258197 and Scotland SC037554

Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson’s. Because we’re here, no one has to face Parkinson’s alone. We bring people with Parkinson’s, their carers and families together via our network of local groups, our website and free confidential helpline. Specialist nurses, our supporters and staff provide information and training on every aspect of Parkinson’s. As the UK’s Parkinson’s support and research charity we’re leading the work to find a cure, and we’re closer than ever. We also campaign to change attitudes and demand better services. Our work is totally dependent on donations. Help us to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
