Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Once again in 2010, we are taking part in the UK's premier charity drive, the Scumrun, which will take us across Europe over 4 days , leaving Portsmouth on the 15th of April. From there, who know's, as we don't receive our days destination until just before we set off. For details visit www.scumrun.com .

Our team has a revised line up of Ian, Simon, and new member Cameron.

The car this year is a '93 4.0 ltr Jaguar XJR Sport (the 2 ltr Volvo we took last year was a little short on power, so we went for overkill this year) , which will be nursed (Yeah, right!) around the route, hopefully making it back to Portsmouth on the 19th of April.

We raised over £65,000 for last year's charity, and as the event is full to capacity of 100 vehicles this year, we want to smash that.

This years charity is Clic Sargent, the childrens cancer charity, and is helping people just like you all over the UK now.

The costs for the event are met in full by the team members, and ALL of your donation will go to Clic Sargent. Whilst we appreciate things are difficult at present, we would encourage you to dig deep.

If you are a business owner or similar, and would like to put an advertising sticker on the car, please contact us. All we ask for is a minimum donation of £50.

The event is televised on national TV (Men & Motors), and we will also be having local press & radio coverage of our participation.

Many thanks - The Good Old Boys.
