This summer, I am undertaking two challenges on consecutive weekends to support Brain Tumour Research in memory of Steven Holbrook. In
2015 Steve, was admitted to hospital with a severe headache which devastatingly, turned out to be caused by a mass on his brain. Steve lost his battle at the end of 2016 after a 20 month fight. You can read more about his inspiring fight here.
In Steve's memory, we are hoping to raise as much money as possible in order to help find a cure for this awful disease and to help other families who are living day-to-day, fighting this fight.
THE EVENTS:
Cycle to the Sea
First up on Sat 7th July, I'll be undertaking a 150 mile bike ride with 17 of Steve's friends and family - starting in Maulden and finishing on the beach in Cromer. One day, 150 miles, plenty of lycra!
7 days later I'll be heading to North Wales to lock horns with the mountains! The Snowdonia Mountain Trail Marathon, starts and finishes in Llanberis and takes in 27.1 miles of the best, hilliest North Wales terrain available - all of it off-road. Just to add a final challenge, the route summits Mt Snowdon at 20 miles...
Please dig deep and fund the fight! We will never stop raising awareness and raising funds to prevent other families from going through this horrendous experience. Please donate whatever you can so that we can prevent any further loss. I really appreciate it, thank you.
