Neuroblastoma is an aggressive cancer in children and is the most common cancer diagnosed in the first year of a child's life. It accounts for 15% of cancer deaths in children and around 100 children are diagnosed every year in the UK.
The charity helps the children and their families affected by neuroblastoma by providing financial support for their treatment which includes chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy, stem cell transplant and immunotherapy. Some of the children need to travel to Germany or America for their treatment and this can cost up to £250,000.
