Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·

Working to improve the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for all those affected by heart rhythm disorders.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running 2 marathons in 5 weeks, London, 22nd April and Edinburgh, 27th May. I suffer from a condition called Long QT Syndrome, which in some people can cause Sudden Death, this happened to me in 2009 but luckily I survived and now live with a defibralator fitted in the left side of my body. I have since had another attack, which again I survived because of the defibraltor. I have decided to complete the 2 marathons and raise money for the Arrhythmia Alliance which supports people with this and similar conditions. Your donations will be gratefully appreciated by me and this charity and raise awareness of this syndrome and others like it, helping with research into these conditions. Many Thanks Sean
