Welcome to Seb's Fundraising Page 'Berlin 2008'! I will be Running this years Berlin Marathon on the 28th September in memory of my late sister Caterina who suffered from a Brain Tumour and died only aged 9 in 1994. Therefore I have decided to raise some funds for the Childrens Brain Tumour Research Centre in Nottingham in Caterina's name. As Children with Brain Tumours are more vulnerable than Adults Scientists have to find new and milder treatments for Children in order to prevent any longterm damage sustained from Surgery and Chemotherapy. Within the last 14 years, since my sister died, the improvements in Brain Tumour treatment have been monumental but as there are still people and especially Children dying from this disease the fight is still ongoing and far from over. Therefore I would like to ask you for a donation to support the Childrens Brain Tumour Research Centre in Nottingham which has specialised in finding and developing new treatments and medications for Children with Brain Tumours. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children's Brain Tumour Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. By giving your donation via this Fundraising page it will be making an even bigger difference!
Please, be assured that I will be in good shape for the Marathon and aiming for a near enough 3hr finish as my training started about 12 months ago and is currently going very well!
Thanks for your time and donation! Yours Sincerely Sebastian Tesche
