<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Dear friends and family,&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>this years challenge will be the <strong>Prague Marathon on May 8th</strong>. Since I haven't been there before and everybody raves about it I thought it would be a good idea to combine a proper race with a bit of sightseeing and fun. &nbsp;</p> <p>This will be my <strong>3rd Marathon</strong> amongst numerous half marathons on and off- road. Our last charity run, the 24h Adidas thunder run, went fantastically well and we <strong>raised nearly 2000 pounds</strong> for our chosen charity, <a href="http://www.noreenskids.org">Noreen's Kids.&nbsp;</a></p> <p>As always I have forced some of my fellow colleagues and patients from <a href="http://www.marylebonephysio.com">Marylebone Physiotherapy</a> to do the run with me. Vuko, our Aussie physiotherapist, with his &nbsp;"lets smash some hills" attitude, is just the right training partner to help me step up a gear. Holly, our clinical manager, who is running London, brings calmness to this bunch of runners and helps with pacing. Former patient, Dave, who was part of the 24h race challenge, is back in the game for his 2nd Marathon and can't wait to beat his former time. And as always Andy, my brother in law, who will smoke us all from the start and probably run the marathon twice if he has some spare time!&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>THE CAUSE:</strong></span></p> <p>Our funds will be donated to the charity of&nbsp;<a href="http://www.noreenskids.org">Noreen's Kids.</a>&nbsp;A well established charity with the aim of helping families with seriously ill children in the poorest parts of Romania. The money will help to pay for healthcare workers, infrastructure of the orphanage and medical centre and the provision of palliative care for the very ill.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Thank you</strong>&nbsp;for helping us with this cause. The charity is <strong>very personal to me</strong> and i can assure you that the money will go directly to the children in need!</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
