The Secret Marathons · 15 January 2018

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

This started as a lighthearted joke to get ahead of a competitive friend, but became very serious!! Having run a few marathons with my friends, typically 1 or 2 a year, one of them is very competitive and liked staying ahead of our tally! So I’ve took it upon myself to run as many ‘Secret Marathons’ as possible in 2018, and will be filming a video as I go on my journey.

I hope you enjoy my story, and I hope you all agree its a fun, yet very challenging way to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's Society. Please do offer me some support, as I hope to raise some money for Alzheimer’s Society on the way. Two of my Grandparents lived with Alzheimer's, and I've seen first-hand how cruel it can be. Anything you can give will be appreciated.
