Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure (now also accepts PayPal).  It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cystic Fibrosis Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Background: I worked on the development of this video game for the Atari Home Computers in the early 80's and had plans to get it published by a software house.   Unfortunately due to personal circumstances and then a collapse in the video game market I never managed to complete the game, although it was 98% complete.  Rather than let all that hard work (over 18 months!) be wasted, I thought it might be worth trying to raise some money for a good cause, and help some young children and indeed adults.

Once the target amount is reached I will release an image of the video game Sector Wars on the website free for download.  The image willl run on most emulators for the Atari 8-bit computers (eg: 400/800/XL/XE).  Please visit www.sectorwars.co.uk for full information and screenshots of this previously unreleased Atari 8-bit game from 1985, written in 100% assembly language  Snippets of the commented source code will also be released for those who are interested in 6502 assembly language programming.

The UK's best selling computer weekly magazine have featured Sector Wars in their Retro section. Please see Issue 1029 dated 6th Nov to 12th Nov 2008.

All donations go direct to the charity via JustGiving and are not paid to me in any way.  I am unsure how long it will take to reach the target amount, but as soon as you donate, your money goes to helping the research into Cystic Fibrosis.  Many thanks for your help.
