For the 2nd year running we are taking part in the Dragon Boat Festival in Milton Keynes on Sunday 28th June in order to raise money for Genesis. Amazingly this year we have enough folk to crew 2 boats. As you can imagine the competition in the office is heating up!

The Genesis Charity raises money to help the running of and research done by the Nightingale Breast Screening Centre in Manchester. The Nightingale Centre is Europe’s first-purpose built breast cancer prevention centre and also runs national training programmes for radiologists in the UK. The services offered include symptomatic as well as screening mammography, ultrasound and biopsy. 

The centre really is an inspiration in its approach to the care of the patients. The work done here is extremely important and needs the funding raised by the charity in its fight against breast cancer and to be able to continue and better the service for women.
