Story
Hiya! I am training for a challenge - running the London Marathon in April 2009! I have now COMPLETED the Marathon! What a fantastic experience it was!
I have completed some runs such as 8 mile run in Guildford and my first half marathon in Tunbridge Wells. I have now completed Silverstone half marathon, it was a fantastic experience. Sadly I have had to pull out of the A20 17.3 mile run in Kent due to a twisted ankle, but thankfully I was sensible (!) and rested, did more swimming and then managed to complete the last half marathon, in Reading, on 29th March 2009, again, another fantastic experience. I look forward to running in the London Marathon!
I am also doing a 22 mile swim - the equivilant of swimming from England to France on the English Channel. I aim to do 1440 lengths in 12 weeks. I have completed this on Friday 3rd April at 8.20am! What a brilliant experience!
I am raising money for NDCS to help deaf children have a world without barriers.
