REVISED DATE FOR CYCLE: 19th AUGUST!!!!!!!

Jay and I have decided to cycle from my home in Northampton, to Edinburgh in order to raise money for the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford! Having recalculated the route we're taking it's actually 530km, not 450km!!! Two months ago, I was admitted into the Neurology Ward at the John Radcliffe to undergo brain surgery, and thanks to the incredibly talented team of doctors, and the wonderful care staff, I made a full recovery. There are so many people under the John Radcliffe's care that are so much less fortunate than I am, with far more severe illnesses. Your money would go towards buying state-of-the-art medical equipment, funding research and teaching, and bettering the wages of the hugely under appreciated night staff.

Those of you who know me will understand that I usually shy away from stuff like this, and that I haven't willingly partaken in any form of exercise for several years... So feel for me in a months time when I may be massively lost, struggling up a mountain somewhere in the Peak District desperately trying to achieve my goal!! So please please please, any donation, big or small, will get me one step closer to reaching my initial target and give me the push I need to get up those sodding mountains!!
