Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
5 years ago, we were blessed with our first gorgeous boy called Oliver Faulkner. Little did we know that this would be the beginning of a rollercoaster journey for him and us as a family to learn about, live and grow with Cerebral Palsy.
We are fortunate that our determined boy has learnt to walk, run, dance and do most things that every other child can do. Without the help of our friends, family and additional support agencies, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Now it’s our turn to help others in similar situations.
Oliver has worked hard over the years doing some painful and time consuming stretches and now feels strong enough to take part in the Hospice in the Weald 1km Fun Run. We will personally be donating money to the hospice, but we would like to raise money for a charity closer to home, Cerebra (http://www.cerebra.org.uk/ ). Oliver will not be alone – the whole family including little brother, Hector, will be donning our trainers and sweatbands to enjoy this family affair.
So I am writing to ask if you can dig deep and help us support this charity via http://www.justgiving.com/sema-faulkner/
If you cannot donate financially, please come and support us on the day with Vaseline and sugar treats! Hospice in the Weald would also welcome any other participants on the day, so do join in with your families.
Should be fun!
Thank you, Faulkner Family xxxx
