Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our 2012 challenge is to walk the "Two Moors Way" from the 19-22 July, this will be a total of 117 miles.

Those taken part in this years challenge are; John O'Brien, Anthony Kincade, Karen Swyny, Glenn Toal, Paul Shepherd, David Gillespie, Neil Hathaway and Mark Ridsdale.

The Two Moors Way links the only two National Parks in Southern England, and crossing both of them north-south. Not only does this include the high moorland of some of the Dartmoor and Exmoor sections, but also the deep and wooded valleys of the moorland edges and between the Moors, unspoilt rural scenery with a remote and tranquil feel difficult to find elsewhere in modern times. We will be walking over open moorland requiring navigational skills.
