Hiya!
Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page.
As you are probably aware in January 2006 I will be leaving the UK and all my western luxuries behind to spend 7 months in a remote Ugandan Villiage living and working as a Health education volunteer for 'SPW' (See left)
During my time in Uganda I will be working directly with the young people to develop practical, sustainable solutions to problems they themselves have identified. HIV/AIDS prevention being a priority.
Fear not though its not going to be a holiday! I will be living in very basic accommodation with no running water or electricity & with a possible 4 hour walk to the nearest shop it is definitely going to be a challenge! As a non profit organisation & a registered charity SPW have asked me to raise the money to fund my placement and thats where you come in!
