Well - we did it!!!  What a fantastic day and a great achievement by all.

 

I managed to do it in a time below my goal, goal was 70 mins.  Did it in 68:54, although that includes about 4 minutes walking time too.  Huddy did it in 64 mins flat - but he was hindered by me thats for sure - sorry mate!  But what a buzz it was finishing the run.  Ben, the 'loser' on podium number 3 did it in 44 mins!  How can I stand on position 1 and STILL be the smallest in the photo!  Boo my short genes!

 

Thanks to everyone for the support over the last few months, and espeically to Simon for helping me train, and allowing me to do this for the charity of his choice for obvious reasons.  Nice one mate.  And thanks to everyone who has sponsored/dontated to a worthy cause.
