I believe her death was preventable!

I have chosen to support this charity because I believe my sister’s death was preventable.

This should never have happened. If only the Authorities’ (People in Professional Care) listened to my concerns and took them seriously about my sisters relationship with her partner.

This sort of thing happens Far Too Often!

Sadly my sister was just like many women in these types of relationships suffer depression and suicidal thoughts because they are not strong enough to press charges against their abuser. They often blame themselves for what is happening to them.

The Police are powerless to do anything once a woman refuses to press charges.

The system is clearly failing these women.

The Authorities need to do more to help protect women like my sister.

We should put a stop to domestic violence.

Every Woman and Child has the right to live free from the fear of domestic violence.  

I love my sister very much. I am missing her each and every day.

This is why I want to promote better awareness about domestic violence so that it doesn’t happen any more.
