Great West Run 2009 · 3 May 2009 ·

Afasic is the UK charity representing children and young people with speech, language and communication disabilities, working for their inclusion in society and supporting their parents and carers. Afasic helps them get the support they need to reach their potential and improve their life chances.

Story

As you may or may not know, I have a handicapped brother called Guy.

Well...throughout his lifetime, along with other organisations, he has been supported by AFASIC (Association For All Speech Impaired Children).

He has benefited so much from this charity, and I wanted to do something to show my appreciation.

My crazy way of saying thank you is by running the Exeter Half Marathon on 3rd May 2009; and I am hoping, with your support, to put back a bit into this charity which has not only helped my family over the years, but also many others throughout Great Britain.

Just the smallest bit of money will help towards this great cause, so if you could spare a few pennies or pounds to sponsor me on this gruelling run, I'd be really grateful.

Thanks so much!

All love
