Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
On 6th June 2009, four obvious crackpots will attempt to walk, climb (and if necessary crawl) to the summits of seven "munros" - Scottish mountains over 3,000ft in height - in one day, without a support team. In the process, and in memory of Bid Doran, we hope to raise much needed funds to support the work done by The British Lung Foundation.
The British Lung Foundation is the only UK charity working for everyone affected by lung disease. The BLF focuses resources on providing support for people affected by lung disease today; and work in a variety of ways, including funding world-class research, to bring about positive change, to improve treatment, care and support for people affected by lung disease now and in the future.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The British Lung Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
We will update you with photos and reports after the event, but thank you in advance for your support.
