Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I live next door to possibly the best neighbours a person could have. About three years ago Dave, my neighbour and friend,  was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumours (NET) currently incurable. After the initial shock and all the treatments and scans and tests, fundraising began in the family. I have been so impressed by the total efforts Linda his wife has put in baking and knitting and raising funds to go directly to the QE NET , with the everlasting support of their girls and their families.

I want to help the cause. I have chosen to climb Snowdon seven times in seven days, I am 47. It is certainly a challenge. My friend Kay Alexander is walking with me each day and she aims to raise money for The Birmingham Children Hospital , who saved her little boys life as a new born.  Anything raised will be a bonus to go into NET at The QE, in hope, that one day a cure will be found for this type of cancer. I am doing this for Dave, his family and any other patients who suffer from this cancer. Thank you.
