On the 25th September the 3 adventurers Shane, Craig and Byron will be embarking on the 3 Peaks Challenge. This involves climbing the mighty Scaffel Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowden, all within a 24hr deadline! None of these adventurers have any experience in the area of mountain climbing or even hiking for any distance, so they'll enter the challenge blind to the consequences that they are likely to face. With No break they'll climb to each summit and back and travel by minibus between the bases of each mountain.

Now I know what you're thinking... why would anyone do something so stupid?!!! Well... these 3 challengers have decided that it would be a good excuse to raise money for Cransley Hospice, a Kettering based charity which specialises in palliative caring and housing the terminally ill, mainly focussing on victims of Cancer. The challengers get nothing out of this brave feat apart from blistered feet, cramp, sleep deprivation and the knowledge that they've done their part in raising money for a worthy charity.

All 3 challengers have started their personal training to get their bodies fit and ready for the impact of the 25th September, so now is the time for YOU - the people to support their efforts and help spread the word and raise the money that will be donated directly to Cransley Hospice.

So; if you have friends or family in care, or in need of care, if you have lost someone close to you who was well treated at a hospice, if you feel that this is simply a good enough cause to support, or you simply like the idea of 3 novices throwing themselves out of their comfort zones and wish to lend your support to them; then sponsor them today and help them donate as much as possible to the Cransley Hospice.

With the raised funds the Hospice will be able to offer more well trained carers, more specialised equipment and an even more impressive service for all of those people in need.

So please get involved! Spread the word, forward the emails to your friends, lets all work together to raise as much as possible for this great cause :)

Thank you for your assistance and donations :)

And Good Luck to the Adventurers!! :)
