SAA Rabbits

Rachel Sheldon is raising money for Society For Abandoned Animals
“Rachel Sheldon's fundraising”

on 10 September 2011

Donations cannot currently be made to this page
Established in the 1960s, the SAA takes in unwanted and abandoned cats and rabbits. All the animals are micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated, and the SAA never puts a healthy animal down. The animals are given food, shelter and veterinary care, until loving new homes are found.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Now that our new rabbits units and completed and operational, this page is used for fundraising to cover the costs of the rabbits in our care.

All our rabbits are neutered/spayed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to rehoming, so our vets bill per animal alone is in excess of £60 for males and even more for females.  Although we do ask a donation on admission and adoption, this rarely covers the total cost of vet care and on top of this there are the feeding costs,  and building heating and lighting costs.  Plus some other animals have additional medical needs such as dentals which require treatment.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
