SHEFFIELD FANS DERBY - 29TH OCTOBER 2010. IN AID OF ST LUKE'S HOSPICE.
If you are sponsoring a player participating in the event then please put "Sponsorship for (the players name)” in the comments box.
The Sheffield Fans Derby was originally set up in early 2008 to support the charity Sport Relief. It proved so succesful that a second game was staged to support Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice. A third game was staged in support for Cavendish Cancer Care. We have since gone on and supported Help For Heroes and Sheffield Cystic Fibrosis Appeal. It has now developed into a twice a year event to support local charities. The event is played between Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday fans. The players are sponsored to play in the 90 minute game and this money then goes to the chosen charity.
The latest event is to raise funds for ST LUKE'S HOSPICE.
The event is taking pace on Friday 29th October 2010 at Woodbourn Road Athletics Stadium. Kicking off at 7pm, for more details on this go to www.sheffieldfansderby.co.uk
