Building Futures is Study Group's company charity that provides educational opportunities in the developing world. Conceived as a direct response to the devastation and loss caused by the tsunami disaster in 2004, Building Futures has already supported projects in Niger, Brazil, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, China & West Africa.

As we head into our tenth year of fundraising, we have our sights set on building a primary school in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, where communities are still recuperating from the civil war that ended in 2009. This project will work to improve primary school enrolment, retention and completion. By constructing a new primary school with 2 new buildings, improving access to water and sanitation and delivering a range of teacher training and school management initiatives, this project aims to improve the education opportunities for an estimated 413 boys and girls in Anuradhapura.
