My name is Shaan and I will be inshallah running the Nike 10K on the 31^st August 2008.

The reason I am running the 10K is I want to challenge myself to make a difference to the world.

My goal is to be able to raise enough money so I can build wells in places like , Darfur, and give these people clean drinking water. I also want remind everyone of the forgotten areas of the earth quake victims of northern Pakistan. Even though there is no media coverage about it, many people are suffering and dying on a daily basis.

I feel this is an auspicious time to donate especially as Ramadan is approaching. Please give generously. You will be rewarded for your good deeds in this world and the next, Inshallah

I look forward to everyone helping me reach my goal of 1K and I would like to thank everyone who gives from their heart, no matter how large or small.
