Story

My dearest friends,

I have had a good life. It is time to give back with blood, sweat and blisters. This October, I am joining the amazing guys at Music4Children and international artists such as Joss Stone and together, we are going to break the world record for the world's highest concert.

The trek will take 16 days and we aim to reach 6,476 metres, the Mera Peak in the Himalayas, in the shadow of Everest.

When we reach the summit, we will need to perform, amplified, for at least half an hour to break the Guiness World Record for the World's Highest Gig.

All the money raised from this event will go towards finishing the orphanage Music4Children is building just outside Kathmandu.  This will be home and sanctuary to children left orphaned by the civil war in the country. They will receive training, an education and love.   I hope that we will be able to recreate the success of this orphanage around the world.

Please please sponsor me - I have a massive target of £4000! I promise to never ask you for anything again but please help me make this happen.

I'll be posting photos of the orphanage soon.

Love you all

Alya xxx
