Thanks very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you will know that our Daughter, Megan who is nearly 7 years old, was diagnosed with Epilepsy in March 2009. Although it was a huge shock to us all (with no obvious symptons) we have now learnt how to deal with it and the condition has now been stabilised with the use of various types of daily medication.

We have nothing but praise for everyone that has been involved over the last 3 years and we have forgotten how many people we have spoken to about what we thought was a rare condition. It is not until you start speaking to people that you find out how many people actually have epilepsy and how common it actually is in every walk of life. 600,000 people live with the condition in the UK

There are so many different types of Epilepsy which can be caused by all sorts of everyday occurrances. I am sure you will know some who has epilepsy and you won't even know about it!!!!!

For the last 3 years my wife and I have now decided to try and give something back to the Epilepsy Action, a charity that we have called upon on so many occasions over the last 3 years by taking part in a few fundraising events.

This year is no different and I am taking part in the Bradford 10K Run which takes place on the 25th March 2012. This will be the 2nd time I have done the run and will be hoping to beat my time from 2010.

We would really love to raise as much as possible for a great cause so that people in the future who go through what we have can actually benefit from all the great work that Epilepsy Action do.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
