The Midnight Walk · 7 April 2008

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing specialist, palliative care and support to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and ultimately end of life care.

Story

Thank you for visiting Sharon and Jodie's fundraising page. This is the third Midnight Walk that I have walked and Jodie's second. I promise this will be the last time I ask for your support - although I think I said that last year.

Last year we walked in memory of Ian Webster who sadly died in St.Lukes in the previous March. We visited Ian in the hospice for 3 months and saw the fabulous work carried out there. The hospice needs to raise £5,200 PER DAY to keep on running and even though you may think that the amount you choose to donate may be small - every penny counts!

So please dig deep and give whatever you can afford or are comfortable with, as I said, every little helps.

Thanks for your support

Sharon and Jodie

UPDATE - WE DID IT! We completed the walk in approx 4 hours and have to date raised almost £450 for St Lukes - A big big thanks to everyone who sponsored us and well done to the 1,501 other walkers!
