Hospice Of St Francis - Walk with the Stars · 21 June 2008 ·

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £6m we need each year to fund our free care.

Story

Hello everyone & thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am taking part in the 'Walk with the Stars' walk this weekend, very late notice I know. Due to my shifts & total lack of organisation, I have only just been able to be persuaded to walk 13 MILES in the middle of the night, when I should be asleep!! In fact I finish a night shift that morning, so will do well to just stay awake and not be found fast asleep in a bush somewhere.

The Hospice of St. Francis provides fantastic care & facilities for people with terminal illness, & are only funded for 19% of their running costs by the NHS. So please, please donate something, it doesn't matter how much (all though more is obviously better!!!)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please, please sponsor me now! Thank you - Sharon x :-)
