My story
Hiya!
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I along with thousands of other's will be pounding the streets of London on the 26th April for the London Marathon!!
I have decided to run for FORT (Friends of oncology and radiotherapy). Founded in 1992 FORT cancer charity supports the onocology departments of the Portsmouth hospitals, covering Fareham, Havant, Portsmouth and Winchester. They provide equipment, complementary therapies and respite accommodation for patients and families coping with cancer.
This charity is particularly close to my heart as I have lost several members of my family to cancer, including my sister Samantha who was treated at St Mary's Hospital and was helped by FORT during her treatment.
So on the 26th April I'll not only be running for those people who lives are being effected by cancer but in memory of Sam.
