Some of you will already be aware that I visited Calabar in the Cross River State of Nigeria March 2008. As well as experiencing teaching methods there, It was also a part of my mission to visit some of the poorest villages/communities and see projects which Concern had already been involved with or looking to implement new projects. These projects include; water sanitation i.e. protecting water springs in order for people to be able to drink clean water without getting diseases such as cholera, education projects for young people and women including women's rights, reduce human trafficking - usually of young girls, other sanitation projects such as building latrines (toilettes for people to use), self sustaining projects such as the production of honey or cassava which enables local villages/communities to generate/produce income or food of their own.

I am committed to raising funds in collaboration with the charity organisation Concern Universal. I will be paid my way to travel with Concern Universal to Nigeria and any funds donated will be used in the poorest communities and make the greatest difference in key sectors of engagement such as - water and sanitation, education, HIV/AIDS prevention and care, gender eqality and women's and children's rights, food security etc. Any donation will go a long way towards making the greatest difference.
