Story
Picture the scene.
10 years ago I agonisingly hobbled into wymondham chiropractic clinic, having been off work for 3 months. Unable to walk or even stand. Suffering from a severe case of sciatica that had been made worse by poor treatment. As you could imagine I was feeling at my world's end! Fortunately for me through numerous recommendations I was greeted by a man called Andrea lucchetti, who gave me the hope that I was desperate to hear when he told me it wasn't too late, despite my prolapsed disk. He was sure he could help me.
After several months of his treatment and guidance, I was Indeed feeling better and returned to work and now thankfully I lead a normal pain free life due to his compassion and caring treatment. I still see Andrea periodically for regular maintenance, in which time we have become friends and I see him as a life coach in many ways as he truly is an inspirational character due to the help and time he selflessly gives to others.
Over the past few years I became aware thorugh our many conversations about one of Andrea's patients, who was very close to his heart caught my attention also called Maisie Colquhoun.
Maisie was a very vibrant and courageous girl who was diagnosed with a rare aggressive bone cancer called Ewing's sarcoma.
So when Andrea then asked if I'd be interested in doing the 3 peaks challenge to help raise money for Maisie's charity, I simply couldn't refuse. To push myself personally having overcome my own physical challenges, coming together with a group of strangers climbing 3 mountains in 3 countries in the timeframe of 24 hours for such a worthwhile cause was a no brainer.
This is definitely a difficult challenge, which has required intensive training and miles of walking so if you could spare a few quid to help boost my motivation to complete the task in hand, then it would be massively appreciated from all Involved.
Many thanks for taking the time to read my story.
Big love, Sharpy.
