Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

On March 12th 2011, I will be taking part in 'The Great Warwick Jump 2011' with a group of friends. At 12,500ft I will be jumping out of a plane and accelerating downwards at 120 miles an hour (very scary for a first time skydiver!)

Fingers crossed, the parachute will open after free falling for 45 seconds, and I'll make my descent - the whole process taking approximately 5 minutes.

I'll be doing the sky dive for a charity called READ international, which promotes education by collecting textbooks from the UK and delivering them to East Africa, in particular Tanzania and Uganda (850,000 books have been sent to date).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Read International and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please take a little bit of your time to help me reach my target and make a real difference for a worthy cause :) Thank you!
