!!!!!Update!!!!

Hi folks – sad to say the ride didn’t go as expected.  On day 5 I was suffering from a virus I had blurred vision and nearly came off the bike on several occasions. We did the sensible thing and came home to recover. Thankyou for the sponsorship –and I apologise that I did not complete my intended ride. In the end I road 300 miles - I stopped on the south side of the forth bridge. This included a day of over 100 miles, crossing two mountain passes, cycling up 13% hills and cycling into a 30mph headwind (not to mention the rain)!.
