Just a bit to tell you way i am running the london marathon. I am running the marathon for kids kidney research. I chose to run for this charity because its not a well known charity and because of my son Alfie. Alfie was born with a blocked left kidney which was later removed just before he was 2. Alfie is now 3 and still under Great Ormand Street Hospital. Alfie is doing well but we have now been informed that he has mildly impaired kidney function on his remaining kindney.
