LONDON TO PARIS CYCLE RIDE 22ND JULY 2009
300 MILES IN 4 DAYS
For 2 decades I have been lucky enough to lead an extremely decadent and hedonistic life, enjoying many things that we have come to take for granted, such as good living, foreign travel, and always being able to drink and eat whatever I want, whenever I want. For the past 10 of those years I have been working in the hospitality industry helping to bring this lifestyle to all those who wish to pursue it... and can afford it!
I now want to spread that further by helping to provide some of life’s essentials to the millions of people across the globe that don’t get to enjoy a world where they don’t worry about “what’s for dinner?”
On the 22nd July I will be taking on the huge challenge of cycling from London to Paris. This will take place over 4 days from the 22nd – 26th July 2009. At a distance of 300 miles, that’s 75 miles a day. When I took it on I thought it would be a challenge – now that I have been training I think it will be a MASSIVE challenge.
I’m overweight, out of condition, ageing and haven’t done anything useful for 20 years. Please try and make this a worthwhile challenge by helping me raise as much money as possible for those less fortunate than ourselves.
